you do this simply to share what YOU have PURCHASED, then this is laudable. But to ask members to pay you is disgusting for two major reasons.
1. You are exploiting the goodwill of the owner of this site to promote your own site.
Tell me - have you permission? - have you even asked? I take it the answer to both of these is no. And you just want to rip people off. Make out that this costs you money. I buy my books and share them - I pay £30 a month to have a seed box to ensure that members get their downloads quickly. What I don’t have is a unauthorised begging letter on a website designed to SHARE audiobooks.
2. Providing audiobooks for members to sample and decide whether to purchase is the ONE THING that sort of justifies what this site does. YOU SELLING your services to provide the audiobooks is what the authorities use to demand ALL TORRENT sites are shut down.
So do you want to be a supporter of this site or someone wanting to exploit the owners of the site and draw attention to illegal activities.
PLEASE NOTE - I expect a cessation of your begging and disrespect for the owners - OR I will have to paste this on ALL of your future posts.
THIS SITE IS TOO IMPORTANT TO LOSE TO THOSE EXPLOITING THE RULES.

Fantastic release! I agree with the majority here that the tag for your site and Discord are perfectly acceptable, especially as the group funding of these releases enables us to get access so soon after their release.
Delf and others like them really need to take get off their high horses and take a look in the mirror once in a while; this is a site designed to share audiobooks (mostly copywritten ones), and anime.chap does so. This site asks for optional donations to stay up, and so does anime.chap in order to continue their service.
I’ve read the upload requirements and there’s nothing that prohibits anime.chap from including a link to their Discord or their personal site; the only links that are banned outside of viruses are affiliate links, and those are marketing websites.

I completely agree. Anime asks OPTIONSL …not solicitation for what he freely shares with us. and we who are able to help…are under NO obligation…we’re glad to help in what way we ca…and it’s FREELY given as we ALL (mostly except the haters ) appreciate your hard work.

I saw your comments on my recent uploads - I have spoken to the owners of ABB and it has all been cleared - I never used to do these uploads and then the other guy left, there was demand for it so I said I’d buy more and upload them - Then the prices raised to over £150 a month to get everything BF releases and some people in my channels offered to contribute as I couldn’t buy it all myself, some send me the Audios to upload, others prefer to donate - Either way I am not forcing anyone too, and some people choose to, others don’t - And some donate more because they want the BBC uploads for instance, ask anyone in those comments or in my channels it is not an issue for anyone.

If this is the case, And I have no justification to call him a lair. Then I retract SOME of my statement ie., Item 1.
HOWEVER - Asking for money to help diseminate pirated content (Whatever the reason) on a pirate site is gross stupidity at best.
I am certain the owner is NOT aware that this is occuring. NOTHING will lead to this site being shut down more than OPENLY trying to sell pirated content on a website.
COMPLAIN as much as you want - I’ve been using this site for 16yrs and an uploadeder as Delf or Delf338 for a majority of this time.
In the last two decades since Kazar in the Mid 1990’s I have watched many sites fall to such open stupidity.
The idea is to have the ability to download Dr Who next year and onwards - Not just today
There Is NO Justification to put this at reisk. 1. request to visit his site (Without mentioning sponsorship) is a minimal risk - Asking openly to support him 3 times is just greed. IN MY OPINION…

When you try to log on to Audiobook.bay, And find that the site is no longer up and google is full of links saying how the site was shut down for piracy. Remember that unwell person. who unlike yourself has spent 16yrs uploading audiobooks on this site,

He does NOT have permission to openly ask for money and to violate copyright laws. This site has a disclaimer below. AND NO the site Owner does not have any copyrighted materials - this site hosts torrents.
The uploader has the copyrighted material - and he CANNOT sell that on the site without this site being shut down….

I am believe he has permission to have a link to his site.
BUT - I am certain he does not have permission to request funding to distribute copyrighted material.
The problem is NOT that he is advertising his site.
But that he is asking on THIS site for sponsorship, this violates the disclaimer and voids any protection the site can reasonably use to protect itself.
If he wants to sell copyrighted material, his mother or first born child on his own site, He risks that site. If he promotes, incites, or offers illegal services on this site - It is we that lose the site…..
Is it worth it. Can he not restrict himself to simply providing the link - and doing the risky illegal crap there? That way thousands of members can continue to use this site into the future… Rather than waiting for the enevitible shutdown when unequivical proof is provided that this site is promoting copyright violations. ie selling in part or whole….
If anyone has ever run a business, a pub etc. Ask what occurs when the pint glass is not seen on a sky screen.
If from the UK - ask how droconic the BBC are regarding licence violations. £Millions in fines each year £1,000 per houshold if they say you watch the TV without their license. They visit every house to ensure……

Thank you ALL for your shares, @Delf I appreciate your shares over the years and I have been lucky enough to try a lot of your shares, @anime.chap I also appreciate all your shares and often sample your shares, especially the monthly updates as I have always been a big Dr Who fan.
As for asking for “support” in the first comment of every share is a bit much as I’m sure all you need to say is come visit my site if you want, and I’m sure every person that d/ls these shares already knows that you could need some help but I also completely believe in what Delf has said about attracting the powers that be and would hate to see this site shut down. Now as for @OdinKing who has not shared a single file on this site, how dare you call Delf a troll and even worse calling him “mentally unwell” as there a lot of ppl in the world doing it hard for one reason or the other and to call a person mental and not even knowing them and what life they had is just plasin disgusting. My brother served in the Vietnam war and although he was very well off money wise, family wise and just retired with a big superannuation payout, killed himself after suffering silently all his life, nobody seen it coming. @Delf sorry to hear of your troubles and hang in there and talk to someone if times get tough.
